Las Vegas Carpool?
I've been going to Las Vegas frequently for the past few months (1-2 times a month). However I only go to gamble and not sight-see. I usually spend 5 hours there and drive back. I park at one hotel, then walk to 2-3 others, then go home.

Does anyone else make frequent Vegas trips?

Since the cost of gas is rising, would anyone be interested in making a Vegas carpool group? I don't want to ask the masses, because there's a lot of creeps out there, but if you have an LJ and have been a member of this group, you're more credible. We can all take turns driving and everyone pitches in for the gas. I'm thinking of making at least 1 trip a month, on a day we can all decide to go. It could even be 1-way for me and I can catch the train or plane back. One way tickets are cheaper than round trips.

I live in L.A. and am honestly curious to know, but not brave enough to take you up on the offer myself.

This has nothing to do with Jameth other than me, right now being grateful that he pointed out your crazy before I or any of my L.A. friends ended up going to Vegas with you.

Because if he hadn't, who knows. I have only 7 more weeks left in L.A. and one of the things I wanted to do before I left was drive to Vegas.

Sorry for the snappy answer but you came across as incredibly rude.

As for the post, you have just as much chance of me being crazy than any other random person you pick up, and tbh, my "wackiness" is limited to LJ. I'm a serious gambler, it's a 4 1/2 hour trip. I'm focused on making bets and leaving, I'd be as socialable as a MUNI bus driver.

But thanks for replying. TBH, I think you're looking for a "social" group, and if you go with your friends, the trip cost you'll $20-40, tbh, you don't really need me.
